# ZiKiT

> ZiKiT is an on-premises HL7 integration engine and DICOM server (PACS) in one product, from H.R.Z. Software Services LTD. It combines a DICOM Archive (Storage SCP, Storage Commitment SCP, Query/Retrieve SCP, Modality Worklist SCP, MPPS SCP) with an HL7 Message Broker, sharing one database. Interfaces are built visually with ZiKiT Mapper — dragging HL7 and DICOM fields onto database tables and columns — rather than by writing code. Runs on Windows (Server 2016+, Windows 10/11 including embedded editions) against SQLite (zero-config), MS SQL Server, or MySQL, scaling from a single tablet to a load-balanced, multi-instance PACS handling tens of millions of records.
